Dear Friends,

FOOD PANTRY NEEDS

Our food pantry continues to be very busy. Our greatest need is canned meats; tuna, spam, chicken, etc.

FOOD PANTRY VOLUNTEERS

We really need help in the Food Pantry in order to have it open during the posted hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. until noon. Talk to Karl if you can help out one day a week or even one day a month.

TUESDAY BOOK STUDY

On Tuesday the 6th, Book Study will begin discussing How to Age Without Getting Old, by Joyce Meyers. We meet in the Parish Hall at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Vestry Meeting: 6 p.m. On May 13

Altar Guild Meeting: May 17th at 9:30 am.

OFFICE HOURS

My usual office hours are Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings from 9 until 12. This week, I managed to come to the Office on each of those days. However, as I recover from pneumonia it is difficult to know how healthy I will be on a specific day. I recommend calling before you come into the office to see if I am there. I check messages and emails from home. I plan to come in each of my three days this week, but I may need to go home early.

O God, whose blessed Son made himself known to his disciples in the breaking of bread: Open the eyes of our faith, that we may behold him in all his redeeming work; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

In the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer, please pray for

St. Mark, Tohopah

the Rev. Tina Snyder, priest

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, please pray for

The Church of Ireland

Blessings,

Ruth

Amen.
