Formation

Adult Studies and Small Groups

We regularly offer studies on a variety of topics on weekdays and sometimes week nights. These studies are often Bible Studies but are often topics such as Women’s Issues, Living a Positive Life and a variety of other topics that interweave the Bible, Theology, experience, and reason. Check the Church Calendar for the latest and greatest courses being offered.

Confirmation

Confirmation is a one year program that guides young people to live in harmony with our Baptism Vows. Teens from 6th-12th grade can attend the class and are required to be involved in Christian service, serving in the Church Services, attending class and memorizing some important disciplines for the Christian Faith.

Discernment Team & Postulants

All Saints has helped many Priests, Deacons and Lay People discern God’s call in their life over the years.  The Discernment Team meets to help members identify and grow into their calling.  After meeting with members, the Discernment Team makes recommendations to the Vestry to consider members for vocational ministry and then to recommend them to the Diocese for development.

Eucharist Instruction

We believe that the Lord’s Table is open to all. However, it is helpful and meaningful to have children participate in Eucharist Instruction in order to learn the basics of our faith and to better understand the full meaning of taking communion. This culminates with a special event called First Communion which is the celebration of the completion of Eucharist Instruction. Families celebrate this with their child with the giving of gifts, pictures and a celebration at the Church afterwards. First Communion is a 8-9 month curriculum that helps young people learn more about Christ, their faith, get involved in serving in the Church and helps foster new relationships with others kids in Church. First Communion is not just the celebration of completing a curriculum but rather the beginning of a young person’s service to Christ through involvement in His Church. Our First Communion Celebration is held on a Sunday in May.

Stewardship Team

Our Stewardship Team meets all year long to plan a meaningful stewardship program that educates and inspires our members to be faithful in giving to Christ through His Church. This involves giving from our time, talents, skills and finances. Each year we use a theme to guide our thinking and prayers concerning our part in giving of ourselves to God.

Sunday School

All Saints provides Spiritual Formation for all ages through our Sunday School program. Helping children through adults to grow in their faith formation at All Saints is one of our primary purposes at All Saints. We believe that we have a loving perspective on Scripture that is informed by reason and history to help disciples of Christ to develop a worldview that makes them agents of change in this world.
