Weekly Newsletter November 15, 2024
Hello Friends,
THIS SUNDAY
This Sunday we are trying to empty the Thrift Store and Room 4. Everyone is welcome to make the monetary donation of their choice, and then take whatever they need from the Thrift Store items. We will need a few volunteers to oversee this, especially people who can come at 8:45 to move things out of the Thrift Store so people can see them. Who would like to help?
DONATIONS – CLOTHES: No, CANNED FOOD: yes
Please do not bring any more items for the Thrift Store. However,  donations of non-perishable foods for the Food Pantry are always welcome. We always need rice, pasta, pasta sauce, canned fruit, cereal, and beans.
BOOK SIGNING
Daniel Bradford attends the 9:30 service. He has written several children’s books about various holidays such as Christmas. Dan will be signing books after the 9:30 service, and he will be donating the profits to All Saints Todos Los Santos. The books are $20 each, and Dan cannot take debit or credit cards.

STEWARDSHIP
This is the time of year when we consider the needs of our church and how we can share our time, talent, and treasure with others. At our most recent Vestry Meeting, our treasurer Benjamin Bishop told us that the church is just barely paying its bills right now, and we will need an increase in our income in order to hire a full time Rector. If we have your address on file, you received a letter this week about giving. Making our pledges for 2025 will be essential to the Vestry as they plan the budget.
In the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer, please pray for
St. Martin in the Desert, Pahrump
The Reverends Lola Culbreath, John McClatchy, Cynthia Lewis, and Kathy Funk, Priests
If you have any questions about anything that is mentioned in this newsletter, please call or email me.
Blessings,
Ruth
