35th Annual Asiamerican Ministries Consultation

Fr. Ed & Melissa Sese attended the 35th Episcopal Asiamerica Ministries Consultation in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, June 6 - 10.  They attended representing Holy Child Filipino Ministries at All Saints' and the Diocese of Nevada.

About 120 clergy and lay persons attended the conference from Asia, the Pacific, and the continental US: Japan, Korea, Hawaii, Saipan, The Philippines, Candad, and Hong Kong.  The Diocese of Taiwan, The Rt. Rev David Lai, Bishop of Taiwan, was host for the conference.

The Most Reverend Katharine Jefferts Shori was celebrant and preacher for the Commissioning Holy Eucharist.

Melissa serves as co-convenor of the Youth and Young Adult Convocation of EAM and has been selected to serve on an Episcopal Church committee called "Does it Fit?" an effort to develop support and encoragement for young adults to discern a call to lay or ordained ministries.  Fr. Ed went along to carry Melissa's bags (and to represent All Saints' and the Diocese of Nevada)
